Welcome to the official web site for the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police.

This site is to serve the needs of all of the New Hampshire men and women in law enforcement.  In addition to telling you more about the NHACoP organization, this site will also be a good reference point for anything New Hampshire law enforcement related.

                    Mission Statement

The purpose of the Association is to secure a closer official and personal relationship among the commanding officers, of all police departments in New Hampshire, to encourage a cordial and cooperative intercourse among all police officials wherever they may be, to advance the science pertaining to the prevention and detection of crime and the apprehension of criminals, to elevate the standards of police service, to uphold the honor and integrity of the profession, and to conduct and transact the business of the Chiefs Association.

Currently you can look up the NH Chiefs that make up the directorship of the organization, find out when and where we meet, get contact information, see some job postings, find out some training opportunities, view a message from the President, learn about the NH Police Cadet Training Academy, join the discussion group, share grant information, see who has retired and who has been appointed, stay current on retirement & legislative issues, and much more.

The NHACoP is a non-profit corporation set up as an IRS 501(C)(6) organization.  We do not have a corporate office.  Our business is conducted at the bi-monthly executive board and general membership meetings, and from the police departments of the member chiefs and our secretaries.

All chiefs of police and administrators of law enforcement agencies in the State of New Hampshire are qualified for membership.  Those holding a full membership (current in their dues) may hold office, vote and make nominations.  Others related to law enforcement as middle level managers, professionals in organizations supporting law enforcement, and corporate entities relating to law enforcement may be nominated for as professional members by a full member.

We are very interested in hearing possible suggestions for the site.  You can reach us at: webmaster@nhchiefsofpolice.com

Any Departments wishing to post job openings on this web site should click on the N.H. Police Jobs link on the left of this page.
