The staff of Northwood Police
The Northwood Police Department currently employs a total of ten individuals, consisting of nine full-time staff members and one part-time staff member. The full-time team includes the Chief of Police, one full-time certified Lieutenant who has been deployed with the National Guard since 2020, one Sergeant, two full-time certified patrol officers, one School Resource Officer, two academy recruit officers, and one Administrative Assistant. The part-time staff includes one certified part-time officer, who is currently on medical leave due to a line of duty injury.

Command staff
Chief Glen Drolet- Chief Drolet began his law enforcement career in 1997 as an agent with the U.S. Border Patrol, where he was stationed in Texas. Following his tenure with the Border Patrol, Chief Drolet returned to New Hampshire, where he was employed by the Rockingham County Sheriff's Department. In 2001, he transitioned to the Northwood Police Department, where he quickly became an integral part of the team. In 2008, Chief Drolet was appointed to the position of Chief of Police, a role in which he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the community. In addition to his duties as Chief of Police, Chief Drolet holds multiple instructor certifications and serves as a driving instructor at the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council (NH PSTC), where he plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of law enforcement professionals. His dedication to the law enforcement community extends beyond his department; in 2012, Chief Drolet was elected to the Board of Officers for the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police, a position he has held continuously since his election.
Chief Drolet's leadership within the association culminated in his election as President in 2016. He currently serves as the State Association of Chiefs of Police representative to the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), where he advocates for the interests of law enforcement agencies across the state and nation. Throughout his career, Chief Drolet has exemplified dedication to professional development, community service, and the advancement of law enforcement standards both locally and nationally.

Sergeant Matthew Zobel- Sgt. Zobel began his law enforcement career in 1999 with the New Hampshire Marine Patrol. In the Spring of 2004 he came to the Northwood Police Department.

Benjamin Stagg- Cpl. Stagg was sworn in as a Northwood Police Officer in August 2019 at Northwood Town Hall. He graduated from the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council (NH PSTC) academy in December 2019.
Nicholas Kane- Officer Kane served six years in the United States Air Force before being sworn in as a Northwood Police Officer in March 2023. He graduated from the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council (NH PSTC) academy in September 2023.
Mary Chaquette- Officer Chaquette is set to attend the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council (NH PSTC) Academy in January 2025.
Patrick Gagliardi- Officer Gagliardi is set to attend the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council (NH PSTC) Academy in January 2025.

Christopher Poppalardo-SRO "Pops" began his law enforcement career with the Lee County, FL, Sheriff's Department in 2006. In 2011, he transitioned to the role of School Resource Officer (SRO) at Lehigh Senior High School in Florida, where he served until 2014. He then worked at the University of Massachusetts Lowell campus from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, Pops became the SRO in Allenstown, NH, until 2016, when the program was discontinued. He subsequently moved to North Hampton, NH, with his wife and daughter, where he served as a detective and part-time SRO from 2016 to 2022. From 2022 to 2023, he held the position of SRO at Barnstead Elementary School before joining COE Brown as the full-time SRO.Pops retired from the US Army National Guard as an officer and later chose to re-enlist in the United States Air Force Reserves. He retired as a First Lieutenant in 2021 after completing a deployment to the Middle East.
